Background All about Giuseppe (Joseph) Sonlabo Siba In so far as this man has walked over the challenges of life and patiently come out on the other end smiling; Joseph, known in Svend's violin studio as Giuseppe, has proven his worth and feeling for the art of violin making. In March, some time, during 2006 I was faced with a host of instruments for some or other school that needed a goliath amount of polishing work where i suddenly thought 'hmm, what about that chap living in Ian's out quarters. A journey began and the two of us have restored an impressive number of violins, violas, celli and troubled basses since.
