  1. Biography All about Micka Clayton

    Micka started piano lessons at age four, and clarinet at age ten. She played with various youth orchestras and ensembles, and achieved grade 8 UNISA.

    After studying music, she joined the military bands as principal clarinet player. She has since left the military bands to pursue a full-time career in woodwind repairs, but still plays the clarinet and bass clarinet for various orchestras and groups. The most recent being Packed House's production of The King and I in the JHB Civic 2008.
